How it works

  1. You sign up and confirm your email. Your own hotline number in your readers' country and a tracked link are issued automatically, within a minute. Every call to your number and every booking made through your link is credited to you. There are no cookies to rely on for calls: the number itself is the record.
  2. Your reader calls. An AI assistant answers 24/7, gives free general legal information, and offers a paid one-hour consultation with an attorney from our network when that is the right next step. The reader pays us by card; the attorney takes the consultation.
  3. You are paid monthly. A statement on the 5th of each month lists your calls, bookings, refunds and commission; we pay by the last business day of the following month, once each fee has been held 30 days without a refund.

Can I keep my existing legal-answers service?

Yes. There is no exclusivity. Many affiliates run Legal Hotline beside what they already have.

How long does it take?

Minutes. Fill in the form, click the link in the confirmation email, and your number, link and call box are issued at once. Nobody has to read or approve anything first; if the phone company is slow to release a number, your link works meanwhile and the number follows by email within a business day.

How do you know a booking came from me?

Calls: by the number dialled. Your number is yours alone, so every call to it is yours. Web bookings: by your link code, which our website keeps for 90 days after a visit; while it is remembered, our website shows that reader your number too, so a reader who calls from our site is still yours. One commission per customer, on their first paid booking.

What does the reader pay, and what does the lawyer get?

The reader pays Legal Hotline a flat fee for the booking and the arrangement: US$195. The consultation itself is provided by an independent attorney from our network. Your commission is a share of our fee, never a share of any attorney's fee.

When and how am I paid?

Monthly, by bank transfer in your currency, by the last business day of the month after the statement. Each fee must have been held 30 days without a refund. Amounts under the small minimum in the terms carry forward.

What must I tell my readers?

That the initial call is answered by an AI assistant, and that you may receive a commission if they book a paid consultation. The box above says both. Do not present the assistant as an attorney or promise an outcome.

Where does the service operate?

Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and New Zealand. Your number is in your readers' country; a website with readers in two of those countries can have two numbers.
